TODAY IS THE DAY: Second Part Of Video Interview With STEVE AUSTIN Available
January 14, 2008MetalKult.com has posted the second episode of its two-part video interview with TODAY IS THE DAY singer/guitarist Steve Austin.
The footage was captured on September 14, 2007, when TODAY IS THE DAY played a show at Club Europa in Brooklyn, New York to celebrate the release of its latest album, "Axis of Eden". The MetalKult-sponsored package tour, which also featured DEFCON 4, CHRISTINE and TAIPAN, was the first for Austin's new label, Supernova Records.
While widely perceived as a gun-toting eccentric, the following in-depth interview debunks this myth and Austin's commentary on the history of his band, his D.I.Y. roots and the launch of Supernova Records shows him to be an extremely articulate, charismatic and thoughtful individual.
Also available on MetalKult is the live performance of "Pinnacle", from TODAY IS THE DAY's 1997 album, "Temple of the Morning Star".
